Benefits & Outcomes

Humans are wired for connection. We are at our best when we’re experiencing the joy of daily life, being present to the healing wisdom of our bodies, and having compassion for ourselves, one another, and the world around us. An emerging body of research shows how a number of health and wellness benefits result from employing different embodied practices in our lives, including:

  • mental and physical health

  • creativity and cognitive function

  • meaning, joy, and satisfaction

  • resilience in the midst of illness and crisis

  • generosity and compassion

 For Groups & Organizations

NatureWerks brings tools and techniques from ecology, mindfulness, yoga, and other embodied practices to help groups improve their culture, communication, and daily workplace functioning.

  • Tailored single-day, multi-day, and recurring programs and retreats

  • Resources to empower health and wellness

  • Consultation and support services to transform leadership and culture

  • Workshops focused on teamwork and skill development

  • Programs for at-risk populations, including youth

Embodied Interfaith Spiritual Formation

Rooted in ecology, embodied practice, and self-leadership

Looking for insight, healing, or to make a life change? We believe that each of us is our own best leader, but we also need companionship and connection on the journey. Our approach is grounded in awareness of and compassion for ourselves, one another, and the world around us. We help you integrate resources from personal practice, spiritual traditions, and science to be more whole.

The science and practices linking mindfulness, the body, and nature experience are fresh and relevant. Their approach brought spirituality down to earth and made it accessible. It was life-giving for all of us and left us wanting more.
